Last Saturday night St. Cuthbert’s invaded the Wrose Bull, with keyboard and carols. All in aid of the Children’s Society. For the next four hours we sang to our hearts content every carol on the sheet and a few that weren’t!
In the process a good deal of ale was supped and £43 was raised for the Children’s Society from people’s loose change. All in all an excellent way to spend an evening and one that was enjoyed by patrons and choristers alike..
